MA “Marine MAN” is a perspective and quickly-developed marine agency. Our staff consisting of skilful marine specialists to verify the qualification of seafarers. We are situated in Kherson, Ukraine , in which you know there are a lot of excellent seafarers with large experience & young perspective specialists.
Our main target is safety of navigation and that is the reason why all our seafarers are duly selected according to the terms and conditions of work onboard of Principal's vessel.
The vessels with captains, mates, engineers, engine and deck ratings from our Agency are operating world wide (Seas of Northern Europe, Mediterranean Sea, Black Sea, Indian Ocean, Southern East Asia, Pacific Ocean, Caribbean Sea, East and West Atlantic ocean etc.).
According to Ship owner’s request we can provide either complete or partial crews. Our data base includes files of Ukrainian seafarers (all ranks) who has already worked on container, bulk carrier, general cargo, sea-river ships, Ro-Ro vessels; have large experience of work, good knowledge of English, and all the documents necessary (according to the rank) in compliance with STCW 95 requirements. All the navigators have certificates of GMDSS operators. Crewmembers are thoroughly selected and prospective applicants carefully screened to verify their experience, competence, fitness and comprehension of English prior to enlistment.
While the process of crew selection we do the following:
1) Test qualification of the seafarers in their field (Using test program CES developed by Seagull, Norway together with Kongsberg Norcontrol Training);
2) level of knowledge of specialty ((STCW: E.g.: mate- ISM code(International Safety Management Code-with add ional and requirements of the Ship owner’s company); ISPS code; radio navigation equipment; COLREG - 72 - 85-95%; GMDSS SIMULATOR; Navigation, etc.; deck rating – level of expeience on deck; Test of deck work etc.));psychology stability of a semen;
3) Test professional knowledge of English (carried out by English inspector and a computer test);
4) Verify authenticity of the documents of each seafarer (in the Ministry of Transport of Ukraine).
